A Moment For Reflection

Last week I had a moment to sit out by the water on the Lower West Side of Manhattan. I found myself in between work & school and had, literally, a free moment to gather my thoughts.

During that moment staring up at the setting sun I realized how small we all actually are. We’re all small parts, involved in something much bigger than we could ever be individually. Like cells of a much larger organism, we all have a position to play.

The only thing that truly matters is contributing something worthwhile to the universe. So, hopefully, when we’re no longer here in the physical-sense we’ll have left something worth remembering behind.
